SARMED proves its anthropocentric character through actions that promote employee development, equality and meritocracy, contribution, innovation, solidarity, trust and respect. The company carries out training courses/seminars aimed at developing skills and technical abilities. The company also collaborates with Hellas EAP to empower and support both its employees and their family members. Furthermore, by maintaining contact with the academic community and aiming at developing the skills of young graduates, there are paid internship programs where graduates of the programs are able continue their career at SARMED after the internship.
SARMED has established an Association of Volunteer Blood Donors, which offer valuable units of blood in Blood Donation Actions that take place at the company’s premises three times per year. The company also supports charitable foundations and Non-Profit Organizations. The development of collaborations with the local community is of main concern for the company which operates and acts as an integral part of its social environment.
SARMED not only performs actions for the environment in order to reduce its environmental footprint, but also to raise the awareness of its employees.
Indicatively, the exclusive use of electric pallet carriers and lifting machinery in the warehouses, where the coordination of combined transportations are performed by using state-of-the-art modern technology trucks results to the reduction of emission pollutants to the lowest possible level.
In 2020, through the “Supply Chain” Program, SARMED organizes and implements targeted and strategic actions to further strengthen its Corporate Social Responsibility.
