SARMED recognizes that Health and Safety is of paramount importance in all areas of its activities and is constantly taking measures to improve its competitive advantage.
In this context, the Company has designed and implements a series of policies and actions to create a healthy and safe working environment:
applies a certified Occupational Health and Safety in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 Management System, organizes regular related training sessions for its employees, implements a rigorous procedure for dealing with potential emergencies, as well as a Behavior Based Safety program, while investing in personal protective equipment, fire safety upgrades, medical monitoring, health advisory services and other safety measures.

April 2025 | Participation of D. Karagiannis at LogiC Thessaloniki
Mr. Dimitris Karagiannis, CCOO of SARMED, participated in a panel at Logi.C in Thessaloniki organized by O Mind Creatives on Saturday 12/04, on the topic of the readiness of the Greek logistics ecosystem in the face of the growing demands of e-commerce.
Mr. Karagiannis highlighted the important role of SARMED in shaping a modern logistics model that actively supports the development of Greek e-commerce through strategic partnerships, specialized e-fulfillment services and investments in innovation and real-time digital monitoring.
March 2025 | New collaboration with KIRPOGLOU
NEW COLLABORATION
SARMED is pleased to announce its new e-commerce collaboration with P. KIPROGLOU S.A. for the storage and distribution of its products in SARMED’s newly constructed facilities in Aspropyrgos, Attica.
Founded in 1957 by Pantelis Kyrpoglou, the company initially operated a textile manufacturing plant, with a significant portion of its production dedicated to fabrics for professional use. In 2000, the company expanded by creating a separate division to directly supply hotels, laundries, hospitals, cruise lines, and catering companies. The success of that initiative prompted the company to focus its efforts and resources on this sector. Recently, it formed a partnership in Egypt for textile production, further enriching its collection with imported products. The company’s dynamic growth, expertise in the product sector, continuous effort to meet customer needs, and consistently offering excellent value for money products have established it as one of the leading companies in the equipment supply sector in Greece.
This partnership is a significant addition to SARMED’ s clients portfolio.

March 2025 | SARMEntoring - Guiding the Future
At SARMED, we focus on our people development and professional growth! To this end, we have designed, implemented, and applied our own Mentoring program, “SARMEntoring – Guiding the Future”, based on the needs of our team, to further develop the leadership and managerial skills & competencies of our team members. The program is applied twice a year, every October and January, and lasts for twelve (12) weeks. All team members from every hierarchical level participate in the program!
The second cycle of the program is already completed, and team members had the opportunity to strengthen their relationships or create new ones, based on mutual trust and respect, and to enhance their skills, improve their attitude or behavior, as well as their performance. The program, which aims at the professional and personal development of both the mentee and the mentor, is based on the company’s values.
SARMED is built on long-lasting relationships and performances, recognizes them and strengthens them. SARMED is committed on the development and evolution of its people, providing equal opportunities for everyone, fostering respect, and embracing diversity.
February 2025 | Organizational changes
We would like to inform you about the organizational changes that have taken place, taking into account the dynamics of the market and at the same time recognizing the abilities and performance of our team executives.
Mr. Giorgos Fardis assumes the role of Operations Director and through his role will be responsible for the Warehouse & Routing – Distribution functions. George, one of the oldest members of our team, has successfully taken on different roles during our particularly long partnership, most recently that of Commercial Director.
Mrs. Fotini Skapinaki assumes the role of Commercial Director. She will be responsible for the Commercial Department as well as the operation of e-Commerce. Fotini joined our team in January 2023 as Head of e-Commerce and made a decisive contribution to the development of this activity.
The Operations Director and Commercial Director report to the C.C.O.O., Mr. Dimitris Karagiannis.

NEW COLLABORATION
SARMED is thrilled to announce a new collaboration with Knauf Insulation for the storage of its products in SARMED’s facilities in Thessaloniki, as well as their distribution.
Knauf Insulation is one of the largest manufacturers of thermal insulation products and solutions worldwide. It has a presence in more than 40 countries and has 29 production plants in 15 countries. It provides thermal insulation, sound insulation & fire protection solutions.
One of the biggest industries is now added to SARMED’s portfolio.
