SARMED is thrilled to announce a new collaboration with Knauf Insulation for the storage of its products in SARMED\u2019s facilities in Thessaloniki, as well as their distribution.<\/p>\n

Knauf Insulation is one of the largest manufacturers of thermal insulation products and solutions worldwide. It has a presence in more than 40 countries and has 29 production plants in 15 countries. It provides thermal insulation, sound insulation & fire protection solutions.<\/p>\n

One of the biggest industries is now added to SARMED\u2019s portfolio.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”December 2024 | SARMED wishes!” css=””]\"\"<\/a>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”December 2024 | Investing in systems and modern security solutions” css=””]Mr. Michalis Tsiamis, Security Officer of SARMED highlighted a number of important issues related to security in 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) businesses in Greece in an interview to Security Manager magazine, focusing on modern challenges and the critical role of technology and the human factor.<\/p>\n

Among other things, he referred to the most important challenges that the logistics industry faces in terms of security, the requirements of SARMED facilities, taking into account the very large size of the facilities and the geographical area, as well as the role of technology in deterrence and preventive protection combined with the human factor.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”December 2024 | Gold level recognition of SARMED for its sustainability and corporate social responsibility” css=””]SARMED participated for the seventh consecutive year in the assessment of its sustainability by ECOVADIS and received again the \u201cGold Recognition Level<\/strong>\u201d distinction.<\/p>\n

Compared to 2023, there was a significant improvement in the company’s performance (with above-average performance in all 4 assessment categories), which is due to the publication of the corporate sustainability report<\/strong> in accordance with internationally recognized standards, as well as to the strengthening of the company’s policies on environmental<\/strong> and human resource management<\/strong> issues.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that in 2024 the way in which the various ECOVADIS recognition levels are awarded changed. Specifically, the GOLD level is now awarded to a company only if it achieves a score that is in the top 5% of the scores of all companies in all sectors evaluated by ECOVADIS in the last 12 months. This year’s score (78\/100<\/strong>) places SARMED in the top 3% of all companies<\/strong>, while the score is now very close to the threshold corresponding to the top 1% (Platinum Recognition Level).<\/p>\n
